Sometimes I get asked why do I pick such delicate subjects to make comics about. Is it just to offend people?
Truth is, when I started drawing comics in my old Blog, all I was doing was showing absurd situations in my daily life. My goal wasn’t being funny, but some people would find it amusing.
After the long hiatus, the website was created, and some of my old readers asked me why I wasn’t posting comics any more. I realised something as small as the illustrated ideas of a grumpy person actually made some people’s day slightly better, so I decided to draw comics again.

My comics started being read by more and more people, and the comics became more general. Inside jokes wouldn’t be understood by the new readers, so I tried to talk about things most of us see on society and the media.
I’m definitely not a positive person, but I believe society can be crude and shameless, and sense of humour can help people not get sucked into the pit of negativism.
When I draw comics I think about things I find absurd. Stereotypes, awkward situations, general stupidity. Of course I could be drawing comics about love and romance, but I’m not quite the romantic writer, and I prefer people embracing the nonsense around them rather than creating a happy bubble for them to hide in.
I understand many of the people who read me may feel offended with some of the things I draw or say, the subjects I discuss are sensitive. We all have a different view on what can be joked about and what can’t. However, you can’t write about anything controversial if you consider the opinion of everyone. I too have my own opinion when it comes to offensive humour, there are jokes I see around that I do not find funny, however I understand others may, and for that reason  I’m not going to shove my opinion down the author’s throat.

So, to answer the question, do I pick sensitive subjects to annoy others? No, quite the opposite. But if you don’t agree with the comic or don’t like it at all, I’m not going to try to make you change your mind, and I’ll most likely not change my own, either.

Would I enjoy if everyone would find my content so amusing  that their bad days would get a bit better? Of course, but that’s not possible.
You can’t always win.

I do value my readers, though. I’m not as evil as you may think! (Lies)

Have a wonderful day.
